Yael stone, a New York City based Australian resident, portrayed Lorna Morello on Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael has received her NIDA degree. Yael was fortunate enough from a very young age to work with Australia's premier storytellers and performers, as well as creative directors in the film, TV and theatre industries. Yael has a successful career working in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael discovered her new home within New York City when the production premiered to acclaim at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael co-founded The Cannery. Based situated in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the The Cannery promotes new writing and innovative, creative exploits.
